So needless to say we were feeling a bit worse for wear this morning. My boots sort of sum up last night, and how we feel this morning...wet, kinda muddy and possibly ruined...
We might have still been drunk, so we decided that the first order of business was food. Alex knew of this great little Polish deli that does a good breakfast. So we headed over there...
That is when we ran across a grumpy old man and his grandson. As we passed the Old Man said to us "young men why are you walking around doing nothing?!?"
That's about right, we didn't get a picture because he probably would have beaten us with his walker, so we kept on moving leaving him in our dust with his very embarrassed grandson...
We did have to walk past the scene of the crime...
And found this sign that is pretty accurate for the day...
Once we got there we had lattes the size of our heads and scarfed down some Polish-ness...
After breakfast we sorta felt like human beings again, so we decided to head on over to Hampstead Heath and wander about...
It's pretty beautiful here, and kind of crazy to think that we were still in London because it was so quiet...
I of course being me, nearly stepped in loads of puddles and was in a constant state of "oh God I'm gonna slip and fall in the mud" ness...
Jeff, being the master navigator seemed to be having a bit of trouble getting us around...
Pretty much every way he wanted to go was the wrong way...
And then he just gave up, but being that the Heath is open, he was easy to spot...
no matter how far...
he wandered off...
We were still able to find him...
to get lost.
The house at the top of the hill is beautiful...
and has a lot of amazing flowers...
There is a whole lot of gay in this photo...
and of course we couldn't resist a few bits...
not even sure what we are doing here, but it made us giggle...
After walking around, we decided to stop and have a spot of tea outside...
it was lovely, until it started raining...
And then we got invaded by cute and hungry critters...
It did take some convincing to get Jeff ready to get back on the wagon, or off the wagon, depending on how you look at it...
I'm twisting my evil mustache, in case your wondering what I'm doing here...
Atta gurl!
Now we are heading back to change and pack up before heading out for the night, because lord knows we will be too ridiculous tonight and we have a morning flight to Helsinki to meet up with Jon and Asan.
That's all for now, Cheers!
