Picnic O'Clock!

It's our first full day in London and we have seen so many things over the last few weeks that we are a bit wiped out.  And the sun is out in London which generally means pasty white people cramming into any park they can find to get some sun, much like New Yorkers do in Central Park when summer hits.

We decided to join the milky white crowd and have a picnic in Green Park which is just off to the side of Buckingham Palace.  Figured it made the most sense, the Queens should be close to the Queen and all...

So we stopped at a shop and picked up a pretty impressive spread if I do say so myself...

And then met up with Alex, one of my best mates from Uni and found a nice spot to sit, do absolutely nothing and enjoy the wonderful day..

We did realize that we forgot to get cups for the wine...

sooo Jeff was smart enough to put it in his water bottle…

And by put it in the bottle, he got ¾ of 1 ounce actually in the bottle, the rest just sort of dribbled down the side.

The rest of us kept it classier and just took swigs (dainty ones) from the bottle…

It took about 9 seconds for all of us to start getting tired…

especially Jeff…

So we spent a lovely afternoon just hanging out and chatting and eating and being serenaded by the dulcet sounds of Jeff’s snoring…

Now we are off to go see a ridiculous play about Ghost Stories, then out for the night in boys town.  That’s all for now, cheers!
